Quinlan's Quest- O'Connor Series
OUT Tuesday, August 30th
The next installment of the O'Connor Series -Quinlan's Trilogy -Book One
Quinlan's Quest by Alyssa Bailey, is the beginning of the love story of Quinlan O'Connor brother and his lovely lady, Cheyenne.
Here, take a nibble...
Can Cheyenne deal with his high-handed ways and higher expectations in exchange for being his woman?
Cheyenne Sterling was partners with her father in their accounting firm when he passed away suddenly. Now, one year later, Cheyenne has a healthy business and unhealthy lifestyle that is totally out of control. One afternoon control walked in her door in the form of Quinlan O’Connor, rough, handsome, and all alpha male. She couldn't deny that he was very easy to look at, but also couldn't deny that it was proving harder than she expected to fall in line the way he demanded. Then again, Cheyenne truly loved a challenge.
Considered the toughest O’Connor sibling, Quinn is a Sheridan, Wyoming, sheriff’s deputy with peculiar tastes. His brothers have a hint of how domineering Quinn is in his relationships but none knows the depths of his lifestyle. Finding a woman who is strong enough to stand up to him when it is the right thing to do, and woman enough to submit when she should has proven to be an elusive thing for Quinn. It makes his search for a wife a monumental quest.
When doing an errand for his father, he meets spunky Cheyenne Sterling, a young woman who needs a keeper with a firm hand and loving arms. She reveals her wilder side and risky behaviors over a pseudo-business dinner at his parents' home. The next thing he knows, he finds her in a private club he warned her to not attend. In Quinn’s world, there are consequences when a young woman disobeys him.
Will Cheyenne stay around after she experiences his consequences or will she run like the rest?
DISCLAIMER: This book contains the spanking of adult women, elements of erotic play including anal and BDSM. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase this book.

Excerpt
Quinn pushed through the accounting firm’s outer door taking a moment to remove his sunglasses and adjust to the lighting. He strode over to the person sitting at the front desk digging in a file drawer as he automatically removed his hat.
“Ma’am, I have papers for Mr. Sterling from Emerald Isle Ranch, could you give them to him?”
The woman looked up into bright hazel eyes surrounded by darkly tanned laugh lines as she eased her chair back a bit so that she could take him in more fully. Cheyenne Jamis Sterling, C.J. professionally, stretched out her long legs in a more relaxed manner than she actually felt. She was not a short woman herself but from her vantage point she could appreciate the height and breadth of the deputy. The creation before her was one of God’s beautiful creatures that raised her appreciation in the natural beauty and work of art that could be mankind and raised that admiration quite sharply.
Cheyenne’s cerulean blue eyes were always her proudest feature but as she gazed into brilliant and unusually vivid hazel eyes, she wondered what children with this man would be like. She could also see that he appreciated her as much as she appreciated him. He was not gorgeous in a movie star, woman swooning way but captivating in a virile, blood heating way. She was quite sure that he and men like him created and perpetuated the stereotypical persona of rugged men taming the Wild West.
Cheyenne swung her long blonde hair over her shoulder while she chose her words.
“Mr. Sterling has passed away, but I can take the papers.”
Quinn gave a shocked look and said, “They both died?”
“Excuse me? Who, both?”
“Sterling, senior and junior?”
“There is no junior, Mister…?”
“O’Connor.”
“No, you aren’t Mr. O’Connor, I know him.”
Cheyenne was beginning to be suspicious of this man, but her doubts battled with her initial thoughts of attraction and his uniform.
“Of course I am. I am just not my father, Sean. I am Quinlan. So if there is no junior, then give this to your boss when he returns.”
Cheyenne wasn’t sure whether she should laugh or be angry.
“I don’t have a boss, Mr. O’Connor but I can take the papers for your father.”
“No, I am supposed to leave them for C.J. Sterling and if he isn’t in this office, I’ll just take them back to my father.”
Cheyenne was experiencing that quickly ignited anger she usually tried to control and felt her muscles tighten with the effort in the face of the arrogance of this man.
“Don’t be such a pompous ass. I am C. J. Sterling, Cheyenne Sterling, James’ daughter. I am his accountant. I use C. J. professionally and my friends call me Cheyenne.”
Quinlan's Quest is a novella and the first story of Quinlan and Cheyenne's trilogy of love. Book 2, Accepting his Ways is a novel also out August 30th. Look for them both...

This is a taste of ME:
Alyssa Bailey is a dyed in the wool Texan living in the beauty of Southeast Alaska with her husband, her youngest four (of eleven) children, two dogs and two cats. She lives where the sky meets the mountains, the mountains meet the ocean, and the wildlife frolic on land, sea, and air. People, the ultimate interlopers, are wedged in where allowed and are properly thankful for the privilege.
Her first memory of books was when her mother read to her as a small child. She began writing as soon as she could put letters together to form words. Her first story at the age of six was about a performing horse that ran away from the circus. As she got older and read more of a variety of books, she would say, “I can do better than that” and then rewrite them in her head. She was writing fanfiction before fanfiction was a ‘thing.'
In high school and college, she won journalism and special recognition for her academic and fictional writing. Alyssa is a firm believer in all things spanking. She loves writing about domestic discipline and power exchanges between strong, intelligent women who are not afraid to make a stand and men confident enough to give them their space but Alpha enough to keep his woman safe, in spite of herself. Her characters predominately live in Regency England amongst lords and ladies, in the contemporary realm amongst men and women of the world, and all things Cowboy.
Contact her, she loves to chat, and as always, have a Spankolicious day!

ISLAND LIFE... AT ITS KINKIEST
Today I have a Wonderful Treat
Tabitha Black
USA Today Best Selling Author
with her newest book
RESTRAINT
out for a LIMITED TIME ONLY!
Will be available on Kindle Unlimited/Amazon only for 90 days from publication

Love. Lust. Limits.
Sir Simeon Harvey has realized his lifelong ambition: to build a BDSM resort on a private island off the Australian coast.
At last Nox Oasis, with its grand apartments, exclusive membership, and very own kinky theme park, is opening its doors to guests for the first time.
George and Faye have been especially invited by Sir Simeon himself to celebrate the official opening. Having lost the spark in their marriage, they hope to rediscover their one time passion. What they don't expect is for Simeon to make them an offer they can't refuse.
Hazel Jenkins can't believe her luck when she lands the plum job as head receptionist for the Oasis. While she has no experience in the BDSM realm herself, she's fascinated by the whole idea.
Her initiation into Sir Simeon's world is as shocking as it is arousing, and when she meets his godson, Dain Wilcott, the handsome American Dom, she knows just whom she wants to explore her kinky side with.
The question is, does he feel the same way about her?
Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual and BDSM-related themes, including MFM ménage, and mild breath play. If such material is likely to offend you, please do not purchase.

HERE is a TEASER:
"Nox Oasis is no place for wallflowers, Miss Jenkins," Simeon went on in his deep, gravelly voice. "As my head receptionist, you're going to be confronted by all manner of things on a daily basis. I built this place because I wanted to create a kinky playground; somewhere for people to come and be themselves, no matter what form that may take. There's still far too much prejudice against BDSM out there in the vanilla world—people think it's all whips and chains and nothing else." He sighed. "I can't have prejudiced staff—"
"I'm not prejudiced!" she blurted out before she could stop herself.
He smiled. "I know that, sweetheart. I hadn't finished yet."
"S-sorry, Sir."
"I also can't have anyone on my team who is easily shocked, or overwhelmed by what they might see or hear." He frowned. "I've been to too many BDSM clubs where sex isn't allowed. It's ridiculous. Everyone buggers off before midnight; a man gives his girl a flogging and they're turned on so much they have to rush home to fuck instead of being able to do it right there, while they're still in the moment, while their juices are still flowing, so to speak."
"I understand," she said.
"Good. So the idea behind this place is that anything goes, so long as it's all within the principles of R.A.C.K."
"Rack?"
"Risk aware, consensual kink. It's also why we have such an involved and arduous vetting process. Means that, once they get here, our visitors can relax and have fun knowing that everyone else is on the same page."
There was a pause. Hazel wasn't sure what to say, but she was glad the conversation had turned away from what was going on between her thighs.
Author Bio:
USA Today bestselling author Tabitha Black has been writing erotic spanking fiction for over a decade, mostly in the ageplay and historical genres. More recently, she's discovered the joys of writing more contemporary, edgier books with a greater emphasis on BDSM – one of which, Sharing Silver, has been nominated for a Golden Flogger award and won the Spanking Romance Reviews award for best ménage 2015.
Having lived in four countries on three different continents, and been an active participant in her local kinky communities, she likes to "write to discover what she knows". Her own personal kinks include anything and everything to do with spanking, fireplay, edge play, scarification, age-play, and too many more to count. Some girls like wood, some adore leather, but Tabitha is partial to big, shiny, ornate knives… nothing else makes her quite as weak at the knees.
She lives in Europe with her Daddy/Sir, and a lilac cat who likes to sneeze in her face. She has a weakness for great cappuccino; strong, dominant, kind but brutally sadistic men (and counts herself amazingly lucky to have found one in real life); brilliant books, and tattoos.
Tabitha loves getting mail, so if you want to drop her a line, please do so at tabitha_black@hotmail.com. You can also check out her blog here, follow her on Twitter @BlushingTabitha, Instagram, or join her Facebook page. Thank you for reading!

I Want To Devour You...
LOOK! Its MEASHA STONE!!!
Can you believe she is here? On my Blog???
She is bringing us a taste of her newest book-in the series WINDY SERIES
Indebted Heart
Book #3

Ask me to button your shirt. Look at those BLUE EYES! That SMILE!!
YES Ma'am that is nice!!!
UH! UH! UH!
Lets get to know Measha first:
Author Questions
So first, of course, the obvious question. How did you become a writer? I’ve been doing it since I was a little kid. I didn’t really think anything of it until my mom pointed it out to me much later. In Junior High we had to write a short story for the open house, and all the other kid’s stories were one page, a few paragraphs, mine was the only one that took two pages and had dialogue and everything. She knew then I was going to be a writer. When she told me that story, I figured, hey, she’s right! Silly, that I needed someone else to say it in order for me to know it, but writing stories was just something I did for fun, to entertain myself.
Are you working on a new book right now? Yes. I’m working on a dark erotic romance. My first ever, and it’s terrifying to write because it pulls me out of my comfort zone of completely consensual spankings, and sexual encounters. On the other hand, it’s completely hot and exciting, so it’s a daily roller coaster ride.
How much of the book is realistic? Hopefully, all of it. With this series, I tried to convey as true of a BDSM relationship as I could. People make mistakes, ego’s get in the way, and being in a BDSM relationship doesn’t change that- but how those issues are worked out is what’s different. There’s a lot of love and trust that goes into a BDSM relationship, and I wanted to convey that with this series. It’s not all red rooms and tainted pasts.
What book are you reading now? I’m reading 3 books right now. Seven Nights to Surrender by Jeannete Grey. The Truth about Him by M. O’Keefe and Taming Texanna by Alyssa Bailey.
Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members. Blushing Authors have been a huge help, especially with this release. Everyone is so helpful and genuine. It’s been a great experience and hopefully the first of many.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing? I still have a day job, but in the off hours, if I’m not writing, or thinking about writing, I’m usually curled up with a book. If my kids happen to actually be home instead of off playing with friends, we’ll spend time together watching old sitcoms on Netflix, or having a family game night.
Does Prince Charming exist? Yes! Everyone’s version of what he looks like is different, but he’s out there. For some, he’s an Alpha male that won’t give an inch and is unreasonably strict, to other’s he writes poetry and sings her sonnets- and anything in between. I lean toward the relentless Alpha myself, and have been lucky in that department.
Which body part would you choose to get a tattoo done? I celebrated my first book with Blushing Books by getting a tattoo of a heart on my right wrist. I’m planning to get two more, another heart design on my ankle, and one on the top of my foot the words “Happily Ever After”.
The furthest I have traveled was to: Germany. My husband was in the Army when we married and was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. It was a great time, even though I was far away from family and friends. I was sad to hear the base has been shut down since then.
Do you like your handwriting? Absolutely not! My father always called it chicken scratch, and I have to agree. It’s horrible. I have a love/hate feeling when someone asks me to sign their book, because it’s just so bad.

NOW... the Blurb
Alyssa Sanders has taken care of herself since she was too young to do so. But she’s all grown up and ready to get her life on the right track. She heads to Chicago with her life savings and a few prospects. She expects to get a job, find an apartment and get on her way of settling down. What she doesn’t expect is to find her new boss not only severely attractive and Dominant, but the son of an old friend.
Alex Trebelli would do anything for his father, so when he’s asked to escort an old friend’s daughter to dinner he doesn’t hesitate to agree. Except the daughter isn’t the small town young woman his father described. She’s all grown up, full of beauty and curves, and a submissive nature that draws out his dominant side.
When Alex explains he won’t be her friend, he can’t just be her friend, he wants more, he wants to be her dominant, her boyfriend, she has to decide if she’s going to take the leap. She’s never been good at a full time D/s relationship, but Alex makes her feel safe and secure. She finds him easy to be with, even when he’s being overprotective and bossy.
Can she manage to put aside her fears of failure, and self-doubt and give them a real chance, or will she chose the safer route and keep clear of his sexy smile, and dominant ways?
HERE is an EXCERPT: NAH NAH- I got to read them all>>>
"For two weeks you've toyed with me." He rested his hands on his belt buckle, the movement not lost on her. "You've stared at me, you've winked at me, you've smiled at me, you've been a complete brat with me." He stared at her; she didn't move.
"Are you a brat usually?" he asked as an afterthought. He knew a few doms that liked their subs to be bratty, to give a reason to spank them for fun. Alex was not one of them. He'd rather have a straight on conversation. If his partner wanted a spanking, she needed only to ask, he was always happy to oblige.
"No." She shook her head and averted her eyes. "But, it was fun to tease you." She looked up at him then. "I knew you couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. It was weird. The more I teased you and the more you did nothing, the more I wanted to tease you, to push you." She took a deep breath. "I've never done that before with a guy."
"What about Thomas?" He asked in a low voice. He hadn't meant to bring him up, but before his brain could catch up to the conversation it was out.
Her eyes narrowed as she answered. "Bradley really has a big mouth."
"That he does." Alex agreed. "Now about Thomas."
"Thomas is an ex. I'm sure you have quite a few of them." She stepped around him and plopped down on the couch.
"Yes, but he's not just an ex, is he?"
"Alex, he was my first dominant. He was the guy that showed me what being submissive means. He helped me figure out what I needed and wanted." Alyssa looked up at him as she spoke. "And what is that? Because I'm going to be honest, Alyssa. I can't get you out of my head. I won't do the friend thing with you. I just won't." He shook his head. "And I won't do the vanilla thing either. I tried that once, had a serious relationship and it all went to hell. I hated it, she hated it, and I won't try it again." He crouched onto his haunches in front of her. "I see you at the club, and I want to devour you. The friend thing won't work."
Her eyes swept over his face several times, and she exhaled loudly. "I want you," she finally said and he began to breathe again. "I've hated the past few weeks, seeing you and not being able to talk to you the way I wanted to talk to you. As soon as I walked into a room, I'd find you instinctively. It was really starting to piss me off." She grinned. "I don't do vanilla well either. I end up being a bitch to see how far I can push the guy until he pushes back." "Like you've been doing with me." He nodded.
"Yeah." She closed her eyes for a moment, and when she opened them they were filled with tears. "I'm really bad at asking for what I need," she whispered. "You were just so, so, there." She wiped her eye with the inside of her palm before the tear could fall. "I think it just frightened me. I mean I didn't expect to meet anyone especially not anyone within the first day of being in the city. Your dad never told me how freaking hot you are." She laughed, the sound made him grin up at her.
"I'm not your boss at work. Kerri is and Bradley is. I'm the finance and marketing guy." He rested his hands on her knees, her skin felt warm beneath his hands. Soft. "But here, outside of the job, I'm all boss." He winked and grinned up at her.

HERO TO OBEY
Hero to Obey: Twenty-two Naughty Military Romance Stories by multiple authorsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Review Hero to Obey
I was raised in a military home with a Vietnam Vet, married my 82nd Airborne paratrooper Dom and raised our children under the devotion and love of country. I have two children who have had tours in Iraq and other exotically scary places. We experience PTSD, Children have married and divorced because of emotional conflicts harder to handle than the battles they fought on foreign soil. The publisher and authors are donating the proceeds to help these same people win the personal battles they fight on American soil. I am proud to have bought, read, and to review this collection.
Stormy Weather by Desiree Holt
Zane’s captain said he needed 30 days to “sort out his head” after his Afghanistan tour. He didn’t need anyone, not his BDSM lifestyle, his submissive who dumped him, not the human race and certainly not Dara whom he had to save from drowning in a heavy tropical storm. Dara is that thing that could give Zane direction again if he only could see it. I loved the struggle that Zane went through to find his way to living again. Contemporary BDSM, active duty-medical leave
SEAL of her Dreams by Paige Tyler
Kurt was a SEAL and when saving the day at Career day for his deployed buddy’s son. Fire play came from all sides. Oh, man did he need extraction. The teacher, Melissa, was a sexy cute thing that didn’t throw him a life ring. She didn’t even like him. He was in the shark tank alone and they sharks were circling. I loved this one because of its humanizing of a SEAL. It also was fun to watch him work for the love of one of America’s unsung heroes, a teacher. Contemporary, active duty
Their Runaway Bride by Vanessa Vale
Robert and Andrew have returned from serving in the military in a country (near Egypt) that commonly have two men to one woman so the woman is always cared for if one is killed. The world in the 1800’s is a wild place all over the world. Onboard a ship headed for America they meet other military of similar slant as well as a lovely young woman, Anne, who takes their eye. They want her. She appears in Robert’s room and within one day they have bedded, married, and taken possession of her. Her father had other plans and is furious but a good military man knows how to use his skills to advantage. Good, fun into to the series. Ménage, Historic, Prequel, ex-military.
Under His Command by Maddie Taylor
A novella in the L.A. branch of Club Decadence, this story takes us to Coronado –SEAL training, Commander Flynn and the simulator operator, Cassie. Cassie is in love with the Commander and his dominant ways, but she feels it is a hopeless love because he is the consummate gentleman and they have a great friendship going. I love we get both sides of the story instead of only getting into the head of one of our main characters. Contemporary, Active Duty,
Understanding the Enemy by Tabitha Black
This was is a fantasy/Scifi story of Blaze the man who must interrogate those Sandrine who would try to sabotage the hateful Saxo’s. Lena is caught trying to seal secrets for the militia. Blaze is expected to torture her and his settled on method is unique. Lena has something Blaze wants more than anything. I am not a fantasy reader but this I was able to read easily. Well written. Edgy, Dystopian, a little dark-HEA
Exfil by Bethany Burke
This story is set in the contemporary/future realm of war torn Syria. Military personnel are asked all the time to do what appears to the civilian to be the impossible. What if you were Delta force and were asked to go in and rescue an ex-lover you never forgot? And what if you found out a secret that could destroy the world and both of yours along with it, and then you were asked to do the unthinkable? Captain Michael Duncan is that man and Emily Becker that lover. My husband would like it. Well written. I could see this happening in my mind’s eye. Contemporary, Active military, edgy
Wrecked by Selena Kitt
Daniel was ex-Navy SEAL now living off the coast of Chili alone. He answers a faint mayday call to find overindulged heiress Darcy with some grand problems. And neither one knows how to communicate effectively verbally. Physically is another story. Hot sex, good emotional back and forth-Story stalls only momentarily. The ending is well played. Contemporary, ex-military, angst
Devil Dog by Lee Savino
Nice story of Cassandra, newly divorcee and Devil Dog Dane, medically discharged Marine. I enjoyed this story because it wasn’t just a story about some ex-military who was stuck in time and place. It was as I know them, trying to find a place in this world that they are now presented with. Dane was the absolute sweetest and Cassandra was disillusioned, more than Dane. Contemporary, Sweet, medically discharged, HEA.
Call Sign: Thunder by Livia Grant
This story was well written about “a miracle” with notorious one night stand Marine Pilot Zach’s and U.S. Senator’s daughter Allison. Zach was called to pilot a mission that went all wrong, or did it? Allison was kidnapped in Columbia. She was not the mission. This story had suspense and drama, angst and an HEA. Two worlds collide and the explosions are real and the ending leaves you feeling so good, you have to read this. The U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Senators get out of the way for true love. Contemporary, Suspense HEA, active duty
A Hero in Disguise by Alta Hensley
Jessa is in a wild loop of craziness and then she is kidnapped to breed. Decker claims her. I was curious and confused at the beginning of this but I could see it was cleverly written when I finished the story for it all came together. Arian-like, Military ops, baby factory-like modern Hitlerism. Gotta read this. Rather dystopian in a real world setting. Hmm, just read it, it will all make sense after you do. Contemporary/dystopian? (oxymoronic, I know), active military, suspense, HEA
A Soldier to Cry On by Abbie Adams
Tony is on medical leave and as his memory comes back he finds he needs to complete the circle on a dying soldier in another bed says, “I’m sorry Frankie.” Thinking he needs to give the last words and find out who this Frankie is he finds her and things aren’t at all as he thinks they should be. Two people who lost parts of themselves find new parts in this sweet story about the casualties of war. Written in first person for both characters but uniquely done. Medical leave military, contemporary, sweet.
The SEAL’s Captive Bride by Sue Lyndon
This story is set in the not too distant future. Earth’s society has been flip upside down and new communities are forming. Self-sufficient, war torn, hyper-protected communities. There are renegades that destroy and pillage everything. Ally needs food, Rick is ex-SEAL that is now a protector of one of the coveted communities. What happens next is really sweet and heart-warming. Again, fantasy/dystopian isn’t what I normally pick up but glad I read this. Engaging characters, moments of suspenseful, fun read, Ex-military.
Her Captain’s Command by Isabella Kole
Story of lost love found between Cmdr Rogers and Lt. Cmdr Vandecamp. The six month shipboard is realistic and his responses to her strong capabilities is well done. I loved the dominance of Rogers and yet his ability to accept her professional abilities. Dom/sub nirvana. Navy, contemporary, easy, flowing read
In His Hands by Maggie Ryan
1943. War pen pals. Ration cards. Petticoats. I don’t read much in this time period but I loved this story between naïve Betsy and her inherited pen pal Jack. Jack believes in Domestic Discipline. Betsy is a good girl and when naughty girlfriend Jane offers her pen pal to Betsy, well, a love story begins. Realistic and heartwarming, this was true for so many men and women during this time in our history. I loved it. I felt so good at “the end”. Historic, War Bride, Domestic Discipline
Worth Fighting For by Zoe Blake
Connor needs sleep during his return from Afghanistan. The guy in the next apartment obviously needed to learn how to treat a woman because two were there tearing it up. Connor stepped into the commotion and met Sage in all her feisty glory. Then Sage gives Connor a bogus phone number and the game is on. The story goes on from there. They are a dynamic couple and I enjoyed this story completely. Fun, light hearted, Sweet. Contemporary, active military.
Enticement by Sierra Cartwright
Pierce is on weekend pass to help his mother’s event and Ella works at the country club and is friends with his sister. Ella is looking for a long term BDSM relationship. Pierce enjoys ‘playing’ but not committing to BDSM relationships. I loved how they worked together to meet the other’s needs even while he showed Ella what she could do. A good read. I think this is very likely happening today in some part of the country. Contemporary, active duty, BDSM, fun-loving
Aim for Pleasure by Yasmine Hyde
Kerrigan works for the commander but is getting out of the military to run her own business and this is her going away party. Stepping out for air, she meets Jaxon and it was a one night stand- standing up against the wall… OH man HOT. They were a steamy couple and I loved the interaction between the two. Fun, light, military was back story as with most, at little dominance, a lot of hot. Contemorary.
Passing Through by Alexa Day
Noah, ex Ranger, barback for Gigi bar owner. He working summer before going on to Florida and a fishing boat crew for a buddy. This one was different in where Gigi is the aggressor and the more dominant in bedroom. Well written. Characters are engaging. I am not as much into female domme as male dominants but story had plenty of sexual tension. Contemporary, ex military
With One Hand Behind My Back by Cerise Noble
This one I have seen in living color with variations with my military exposure and I loved it. It was so real. Drew and Irene fall in love. Drew is dominant and believes in Domestic Discipline and it does do something to Irene’s libido. Drew says it isn’t her choice and Irene eventually gives in but she is one strong woman. And that makes it more beautiful. But their moves, money issues, lack of jobs at new duty stations, deployment, and then when tragedy hits, what it will take to survive it and when it looks like they won’t. I cried because I KNOW THEM and so many others like them. Contemporary, Domestic Discipline, Active duty, War. Read this one!! All us military wives need to read this and nod in understanding. It raced a bit and would have loved full book.
Owned by the Marine by Renee Rose
Medically discharged Marine Sergeant Rob Gentry met, cute but not in his future plans if he had any, Kaitlyn, his next door neighbor. She made an unfortunate error in judgement and almost died. She might have if it weren’t for Rob. They explore some BDSM lite and domestic discipline, she helps him come back from the soul killing “survivor’s guilt” and he shows her that she can have a wonderful life with all she wanted. I loved this story. It was heartwarming and highlighted the “now I have been injured and can’t do what I was trained to do-what is left?” The horrible pain when ones coworkers of any walk of life are killed leaving a sole survivor.
Bound by the Captain by Kate Richards
One with the USCG. Finally. I was raised a Coastie’s kid, during Nixon and lived in Alaska. I enjoyed reading about Captain/Dr. Mark King and Russian beauty, Dr. Anya Vanikova in search of the Sea Serpent. She was in search of “the one” dom and he was a dom. Countries that distrusted each other. I loved it when the Captain’s head was in his “toy drawer”. Lots of sexual tension and D/s and edgy BDSM, suspense. Nixon era, Cold war, Active duty, D/s.
A Little Love by Maren Smith
Nolan and Tricia. Okay, I don’t laugh in books easily but I died laughing in the first scene. And it only got better from there. Nolan left the Army after 15 years and he needed to find a project to “lose himself in”. He bought a house, and found himself lost in two projects renovations and new relationships. I enjoyed descriptions in this story, so vivid. “hello darkness my old friend” oh, yeah. D/l and so sweet and cute. DD/ls, contemporary, ex-military and fun.

“…What have I told you about arguing with me?"
Hillary stifled a sigh. They'd had this discussion a lot in the past two days, and she really ought to know better by now. She cast her eyes down.
"That it's disrespectful. I'm sorry, sir," she said meekly.
"Mm-hmm. Finish getting dressed," he told her.
"I'm finished!" she replied. "Just need to grab my purse." She tried to scoot past him into the hallway, but he wouldn't move.
"That is what you're wearing?" he growled, his eyes roving over her.
Hillary looked down at herself. She was wearing a navy blue sundress with spaghetti straps that crossed in the back, and a frilly, A-line skirt that hit her at mid-thigh. Paired with her flat silver sandals, it was perfectly appropriate for the unseasonably hot September day... Wasn't it?
"Um... yes?" she ventured.
"Um... no," he said firmly, crossing his arms over his chest. "That looks like the... what do you
call it? The thing you wear under the dress," he told her. "It's too fucking sexy. Put something else on."
She frowned. "Matt, I don't have anything else. This is the only dress I brought with me."
"Are you arguing again?" he demanded.
"No! I'm just trying to explain," she told him honestly. "I've worn this before, lots of times, and
She broke off when he took a step forward, crowding her against the wall.
"But I wasn't your dominant before, Hillary," he reminded her, his left hand coming up to cup her
cheek and hold her in place.
The way he said her name—her full name—in that deep, serious voice made her nipples tighten. She pressed her head and shoulders back against the wall.
"Yes, sir," she breathed.
"Do you see how revealing this is? Hmm?" His right hand traced a line from her throat, across her collarbone, and down. Hillary swallowed.
"Do you see how fucking sexy you are?" he demanded.
God, what had gotten into him? Please don't stop, she begged with her mind.
His eyes were focused on his index finger as it dipped just below the edge of her dress and traced a path across the swell of her breast.
"Do you see how just the slightest touch," he whispered, his words fanning heat across her sensitive skin, "could make this happen?" He hooked his finger around one spaghetti strap and slid it down her shoulder. "Do you want this to happen, Hillary?"
Oh. Yes.

A dominant does not mean...
I thought I would just ramble a bit today. Tomorrow is Father’s Day and I wanted to say a few things about misconceptions. While each relationship is different there are somethings that are not always understood.
In my world, I don't call my spouse my dom. He doesn't need it and neither do I. We play at home, not a club or small group. We are intimate. In my world a dominant, my dominant, is the Head of Household (HOH). Period. For us it has always been a natural way of life and I don't even think about it.It is easy and takes arguing away.
Honestly, it was just what we did without rules, guidelines, and a lot of plain trial and error. We aren't patterning ourselves after any specific group. Some clever people call it THIS THING WE DO and that is what I have loved to call it ever since learning the phrase.
Here are some things I have learned in our marriage that has lasted over 35 years.

A dominant man does NOT mean:
- Rough, man-handling in the bedroom unless his partner really asks, verbally, for it and even then, increase in small measured quantities
- What we say when we are aroused can be easily misinterpreted if a man is not well versed in his partner’s needs, things could go awry quickly
- On the flip side, if she has established what level of intensity in play that she/he likes, don’t frustrate them by not fulfilling that need unless it is part of the game
- Making all the decisions both in the bedroom and outside of it.
- Some dominants enjoy all the control in the bedroom but contrary to the most exciting book you have read, they do enjoy their partner initiating things sometimes and enjoy reciprocal affection initiated by their partner.
- Make the decisions you can but confer when needed.
- They are ON all the time. Many or even most dominants want a capable partner if they are together outside of play because making all the decisions just sucks the life out of anyone.
- That being said, it is a huge red flag if you need to “clear” a normal daily task with your dominant. This is outside of play and okay if agreed upon but there are limits. Both should be comfortable where they are set.
- They are perfect. Of course, they make mistakes. They make plenty and should know how to apologize and if there is something needed to correct the mistake. All done without shifting responsibility.
- They also expect the same from you. If either of you have difficulty owning up to human error, may I suggest working on that.
- They are mind readers.
- You want something, need something, experienced something, tell him, talk to him, be available to him. He can grasp many things but your thoughts, while may be easy to guess at times, is just that, a guess unless you have told him.
- They are self-sustaining. They are human and as such, are needy beings. We all need love, reinforcement, to be allowed vulnerabilities and life hurts us all sometimes.
- Be the person you want him to be for you. While they often know what to do, they want to do it with you. And need you as much as you need them.
- You are his door mat, his puppet, his computer animation.
- You are his partner, someone he should be proud of and if you do not have pride in yourself, it is difficult for him to continually boost you up. If self-esteem is a big issue for you, find a counselor to help you gain that self-love. It works both ways.
- You do all the work both physically and emotionally, while he drinks a beer and watches the game.
- If he cares for you and what you have together, he will do his best to share the load. Lovingly.
- He barges in, takes over, and runs every show. He can't fix it all, save it all, orchestrate it all. All the time. Don't expect it and don't ask it of him.
- It’s all about sex, because it isn’t. It is all about everything. The way he loves, cherishes and respects you as well as expects those same things from you as an expected way of life.

It was just a little peek...
Her life was changed forever...
Why did she ever peek in through that missing chinking...
Now presenting a standalone book that I have struggled with to get like I wanted. It is a full size novel. Out for ARC readers today so I will share the cover for the rest of you. 1870, North Texas Cattle Country but really, not about cattle. About...
Taming Texanna by Alyssa Bailey
Texanna Rae Grant, at nineteen, was not happy even though she knew men lusted after her. She was not marriage material. Her mother had left her when she was a child, her brother as a teen and now her father wanted to be rid of her. She didn’t know why she was so unlovable but she obviously was. That is why, when her best friend Mandy said her cousin, the marshal, had eyes for her, Texanna rolled hers. He wouldn’t be interested in her and even if he were, he wouldn’t stay. No one ever did.
Half-breed Marshal Colton McFadden was known all over the West for his uncanny inner sense and tracking abilities. Many of the unattached women of the quickly growing township took an interest in him but he only had eyes for one woman, Texanna Grant. Colton’s inner vision seemed to see into her very soul that was innocent but troubled. However, he was not under any illusions that a father would allow him to court his daughter due to his mixed blood, marshal or not.
Then a hole in a storeroom chinking on laundry day, trousers, men's undergarments, a little coercion, and a spanking changed everything. Now Mr. Grant insists on a marriage, Texanna is on the run, and Colton needs to bring order back to his house and his life. First thing’s first, however. He needs to track down, marry, and take home his woman. Then he can start Taming Texanna.

Book #2 in the Cass Chronicles
Read the tease:
Cass Nelson has gotten used to blizzards, wolves and being an outsider in Slicktrench Alaska. While she couldn't be happier in her marriage to Killian, the arrival of a surprise package is a potent reminder that her marriage
While she couldn't be happier in her marriage to Killian, the arrival of a surprise package is a potent reminder that her marriage isn't like the relationships her friends all have. She might not understand this whole being a submissive wife business, but she does understand that she can't imagine living a life without the man she adores even if he lights up her bottom on a regular basis.Busy with helping to run the lodge and posting on her very popular CassCooks blog, her life tips upside down with having to deal with Killian's brother who is marrying a woman that nobody likes and an IRS auditor nosing around the lodge.
Just when Cass has decided that the best way to ensure a happy marriage is to totally give up her own dreams, she is offered her own TV show. Her decision to not share this information with her husband will cause all sorts of different kinds of reverberations. Will wedding bells ring and is that howling coming from the wolves outside or the wife inside when her husband discovers that his precious wife is holding back her own secrets?
Take a Taste:
There was a photo album her mother had sent. Cass’s mother had been a serious scrapbooker all of Cass’s life and the digital revolution had hit her hard. She just could not give up her deckle edged scissors, so her children still received fussily decorated scrapbooks several times a year. She set the stack of bills aside and turned her attention to the other package. It had been shipped to a C Nelson c/o a post office box. Cass wasn’t aware of having a PO box. Maybe it just automatically happened when you moved here, she thought.
She used a spare key that was deep in the recesses of her bag to slit open the paper tape. Digging through the packing peanuts she spied something that was bright blue. She reached in and to her amazement was pulling a small bright blue paddle out of the box when the passenger door swung open. She stuffed the vividly colored contraband back into the box with such force that she broke though the bottom of the parcel. She had unleashed a torrent of static ridden packing peanuts that suddenly seemed to fill up the jeep.
“What’s in the box?” queried her mother in law.
Cass tossed the box over her shoulder. It arced, leaking like a rocket shedding jet fuel , into the back seat. Cassandra spat out a packing peanut. As per usual when she was caught off guard she began to babble.
"Mom sent me a scrapbook you can’t see it now. I’ll show you later, but I’ll definitely show you later. Nothing to hide.” She cackled like a lunatic of criminal intent. “Or maybe the cake pans were in here. I’m not sure. Something was in there. But it really doesn’t matter. We have to get home right now!”
Hazel was deep in her own thoughts and barely seemed to notice the bizarre behavior of her daughter in law. Cass was unsure how she would distract her mother in law long enough to smuggle into the lodge the S&M contraband that she had apparently been too drunk to know she was having delivered to the PO box that she didn’t know that she had. She needn’t have worried.
Hazel said,”Oh I forgot to put clean towels in cabin 2, I’ll unload the jeep later” and nearly threw herself out of the still moving jeep as soon as they were through the open gates of the lodge.
Yeah, I know what is going on. And I can guess what is going to happy. Can you???

Many misdeeds – one punishment
Guess who has come over to my house today? Bethany Leigh and she has brought with her the greatly anticipated Anthology of Short Stories that she has put together for us.
A Cure for All Ills
Alyssa: Bethany, I am so excited you are here. I have already snapped this one up.
It is perfect for when you don't have a lot of time in one block and are never satisfied if you have to put down a story before it is finished.
Your last books were so well developed that I knew this would be an easy decision to purchase it.
So, can you tell us about what you have put together for us?
Bethany: Sure. Well this is a taste of what you will get:
He left and she could hear the clatter of plates in the kitchen. Quickly, she grabbed her handbag – she didn't want to leave the bag of spaghetti in there, it would smell. She chucked the bag onto the fire.
The fire popped and cracked loudly, alarmingly. Shut up, she willed it, suddenly apprehensive, shut up.
"Wow, what's happened to the fire?" Adam asked, coming in with two bowls of sticky date pudding and custard. It was exploding angrily, flames flaring, sparks fizzing. He put the bowls down and strode towards it.
"I'll poke it while you –"
But it was too late. He was already investigating the remains of plastic bag and uneaten food. Maddie swallowed. She didn't know what to do, what to say. She wanted to get out of there. She wished she'd never come.
Slowly, Adam placed the poker against the fireplace. Then he turned to look at her.
Alyssa: Oh man, is she in some trouble. But I think you touch on areas that many women and couples face. Issues that can take over their lives unless they are addressed.
In fact, that is the commonality in this anthology, right?
Bethany: Right. Every lady in this collection is dealing with some kind of issue that may impeded her happiness. Here, let me introduce you to the women whose stories I tell.
Meet the women from A Cure for All Ills
Maddie is struggling with an eating disorder when she starts dating Adam. When he catches her hiding food instead of eating it, he decides to help her overcome her eating disorder with some tough love that includes spankings.
Caroline thinks she’s met the spanking hero of her dreams when a colleague puts her across his knee after the office party. But a phone call shatters her romantic illusions and leaves her determined to have nothing more to do with him.
Louise is a time-travel tour leader from 2065. She’s also a frustrated spanko. So when she discovers there was a serial spanker at large in 1680s London, the temptation to take an illicit trip back in time to have him spank her is too much to resist.
Ellie’s husband loves keeping up old traditions – but that doesn’t extend to keeping up traditional household roles. Can a trip to the Czech Republic, where there’s a very special Easter Monday spanking tradition, help bring Tim round to Ellie’s way of thinking?
Ginny has been reported for letting her dog run free in an on-lead area. When a fine arrives in the post, she remembers the spankings she used to receive from Andy before they had children. Worried about possible punishment, she tries a little subterfuge.
Sarah and Dan have been together for one year. She’s made great plans for the perfect wedding anniversary, but when she wakes up he’s already ensconced in his man-cave. Sarah’s furious reaction results in a day that promises to be memorable – but not for the reasons she’d planned.

Voodoo Doll, Mystery and Spanking Beast
Hello!
Today I have with me Jordan St. John and he has put out an incredible Mystery, in fact, it starts as a mystery within a mystery and it is a great way to break it up from the Valentine's Day sugar overload many of us have. We need a good plot to sink our teeth into and here it is.
This book is fresh and raw with plenty of what we Spankos like most, spankings, of course.
Jordan, can you tell us about your new release, The BEAST'S WOMAN...

The Beast’s Woman by Jordan St. John is about an...
Up-and-coming investigative reporter Lucy McCall jumps at the chance to look into the story
of the disappearance of several young women in New Orleans, but the situation quickly
becomes personal after a good friend of hers is taken. A tiny voodoo doll left behind at each
of the women’s homes serves as the kidnapper’s only calling card.
While snooping around her friend’s apartment in search of anything that might help shed
light on what took place, Lucy is surprised to be confronted by a mysterious, darkly
handsome man who demands that she stop pursuing the story. Her surprise turns to shock
when the man takes her over his knee, bares her bottom, and spanks her soundly to drive his
point home. Undeterred by the man’s stern warnings, Lucy continues her investigation, and
soon she crosses paths once more with the very same man who so recently punished her in
such a humiliating manner.
The last thing someone like Drake needs is a naïve, headstrong reporter sticking her nose
where it doesn’t belong, but Lucy proves more determined and resourceful than he expected.
Knowing the terrible danger she faces while going it alone, Drake reluctantly agrees to accept
Lucy’s help in his efforts to thwart the plans of the one responsible for the disappearances.
But as she has already learned the hard way, her bare bottom will pay the price if she fails to
do as she is told.
Drake has a dark secret of his own, however, and he stays in the shadows for a reason. When
she discovers his true nature, Lucy is both terrified and filled with a desire more intense than
anything she has ever felt before. Soon enough she finds herself crying out from both pain
and pleasure as he punishes her, dominates her, and takes her harder than she had thought
possible. Drake’s fierce lovemaking leaves her longing for more, but will he be able to keep
her safe as they prepare to confront the evil stalking the city?
Publisher’s Note: The Beast’s Woman is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, sexual scenes, anal play, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
This is interesting. Can we get a taste of the book?
Here you go!
He broke the silence. “You’re an amateur—and utterly naive. Whatever game you are playing
at, you are in way over your head. You need to go home like a good little girl and stay out of this.”
Lucy sputtered. “You can’t talk to me that way. I’ll have you know I’m a reporter for the
Times. A good one.”
“You are a dilettante and you are about to be in serious trouble of a type you can’t imagine.
Go home.”
Lucy tossed her head and set her jaw. “I’m not done looking around yet.”
The man stared her down. “You will either get out of here and go home, or I’ll put you over
my knee and spank your little bottom raw, right here and now.”
What did he just say? Lucy froze at the threat. Spank her? The prospect of a humiliating
spanking at the hands of this man flashed through her head as she saw herself rudely
upended, bottom up. Then her ire rose. “Don’t you threaten me. I have as much right to be
here as you. More, actually. You wouldn’t dare touch me.”
“Have it your way,” said the man as he advanced.
Lucy stumbled backwards and slipped. She fell on her back on the bed. The effigy popped out
of her waistband where she had tucked it, and fell at the man’s feet.
“So,” he said, bending to pick it up. “You lied, and on top of that you were going to cart this
off.” He shook his head. “I’m going to impart a valuable lesson here, one that might save
your life. You will stay away from this place and everything connected to it.”
He reached for her. Lucy tried to scoot away, but he was too quick and too strong. He sat on
the bed and flipped her across his knees.
“Noo!” Lucy shrieked, but the man was undeterred. The next thing she felt was her skirt
being lifted and her tights being rucked down. Underneath she wore a thong. He left that in
place at least.
For the next several minutes the apartment of Kiri Constantine rang out with the sounds of a
sturdy male palm meeting bare female flesh. Crack after crack exploded across her rear. Lucy
had never felt anything like it. Her bottom burned red hot with the repeated smacks. The
spanks assaulted her rear cheeks with a relentless intensity, the sting in her bobbing fanny
increasing with each meaty smack until she was sure that she’d burst into tears any
moment.
She felt overpowered, helpless, and utterly humiliated. Bare bottomed, held face down over
this man’s knee and powerless, she wriggled and fought, but he held her in an iron grip,
seemingly effortlessly. As smack after smack assaulted her nearly bare behind, Lucy could do
nothing but flutter her legs and wail.
